space-dye looks as well as plush effects and multicoloured jacquards create appealing textures. Feather and plush yarns continue in mid- to
fine gauges, in addition to fine yarns for semi-sheer and opaque looks in viscose, polyester , cotton and polyamide blends.

Velvet touch

Sensuous chenille and velour surfaces continue to evolve in line with the A/W 17/18 forecast trend: INFusion. Pile yarns are seen in a range of smooth and irregular finishes and fancy effects, while plush techniques, bouclé and cut chenille yarns are worked into jacquards for a decorative effect. Tactile contrasts are used to give an all-over velvet look, or worked for graphic sportif looks in acrylic, polyamide, cotton and cashmere blends.

Marl and mélange yarns are given a large-scale bold update in heavy-knit gauges for all-over effects with graphic tipping and colour-blocked highlights. Fringing adds a

bohemian feel with silhouettes ranging from relaxed hoodies to A-line sweaters and fitted cardigans in a palette of floral pinks, camel and monochrome in chunky cotton yarns.
